After graduating from Yıldız Technical University, İrem worked for an architecture firm for a short time and continued her career in the communications sector. She provided communication planning and media buying services to local and foreign companies in different companies of BBDO Group. In 2002, she took part in the establishment of OMD, the media planning and buying agency of global communications giant Omnicom in Turkey, and continued her role as COO on the executive board of OMD Turkey until 2022. At the end of 2022, she settled in Bodrum due to its unique beauty, air, sea, sun and especially its suitability for sailing, which is a family hobby. Throughout her professional career, her interest in interior architecture and decoration had led İrem to make real estate investments, renew and evaluate them. As of 2025, she combined this interest with her communication and corporate business life experience and started real estate consultancy in Bodrum for Turkish and foreign clients.
